A highly trained, brilliant professional SHOULD earn more than an uneducated, untalented person doing some menial work.

To say that every job should earn the same pay is to promote communism which is far more unfair than there being a financially-based class society. What motivation would exist for people to excel at their jobs, pursue higher learning or develop their talents?

What's worse is that there's no place for the disabled or elderly who are unable to work in such a society since they are just a burden on those who are working.

Everyone should have basic needs met: safe housing, nutritious food, clean water, basic education, emergency services, access to affordable healthcare and that's about it.

It's simply not feasible for everyone to be wealthy.
