I babysit overnight for a family and the mother asked if I would sleep in the master bed with the younger child (5 yrs). How do I say no?

Update:

The first night I stayed, the youngest was already in bed and the mom said "I forgot to ask you but I told *child's name* that she could sleep with you." I have stayed a few nights and have slept with the child but not only does it make me uncomfortable but the child wiggles around all night and kicks me. I can never sleep well but I feel weird saying no after I already agreed.

You say, "No, I'm sorry, but I don't feel comfortable with that request."

    Just say you’d feel uncomfartable

    Be polite and honest.

What is the reason? Are you unable to or do you feel uncomfortable?

I’m sure if you told them nicely whats wrong they’d understand. And if they dont maybe theyre not the right match for you. Good luck
