Mexicans Are Taking Over?

Do you see Mexicans as the main Hispanic group in the USA in the next couple of years? I barely see Puerto Ricans and Dominicans in NYC anymore. The Bronx was mainly populated by Puerto Ricans and Dominicans before the year 2000. What do you say?

There has been an increasing problem with illegal Mexicans in the country for years. After Regan granted them amnesty, they just kept coming illegally. They buy forged govt docs; green cards and soc sec cards they need to get a job. They buy these from cartel forgers who make a lot of money selling their forgeries. The argument that "they never committed any crimes while they were here is completely false. As soon as they crossed into the country without visa or passport, they committed their first crime, then buying forgeries of govt docs and using them as though they were genuine is an ongoing crime.

An easy way to see is how many Mexican restaurants are there? A culture is largely based by the food they eat. In the US, that would be Mexican, Chinese, and Italian, not necessarily in that order. We introduce other cultures too, but I'd say those are the big ones.

Answer: Mexican dominates over other foods with those flavors in the US. This suggests the Mexican influence is strong.

People of Mexican descent have been the "main Hispanic group" in the United States for almost two centuries! The Spanish explored and colonized much of the western United States and later ceded it over to Mexico! The "Hispano" people living there were absorbed into the United States after the Mexican American war in the 1840s. Millions of their descendants still live in California, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas and Arizona. Puerto Ricans, Cubans, Dominicans etc, came way later, beginning with Puerto Ricans in the late 1940s and early 1950s!

I think that you're confused by the more recent influx of impoverished Mexican, Guatemalan and other Latin American immigrants who have been flooding across the border for the last 40 years or so!
