    No, it does not. Microwave ovens basically are stovetops that work much faster. There is no ionising radiation coming from them.

    well, I read up a case in the 90's, where a doctor got sued by the mfs of microwaves for something he published...and they sued him for interfering with COMMERCE, there was nothing said about the content of the article, which basically said, that food that gets prepared in a microwave is less healthy than conventional heating.....so I doubt produces cancer but I threw mine out years ago...after reading that article.......
