Why is revenge wrong?

    It's counterproductive. It prolongs the conflict. It often results in opinions changing in favor of the original aggressor. It's immature and lowers you to "their level".

    It's Karma. Meaning, you mess with someone, your going to get burned. If someone has wronged you, for give them. Don't mess with Karma, you might find yourself living in an ant colony in the Sudan. As an ant.

    It keeps anger and hurt stirred up and also perpetuates retaliation.

    Because it tends to be self-perpetuating. Violence usually begets more violence. That's the failing of those who lack emotional stability and self-control.

    That is something only experience can resolve. Seems most with that kind of experience say it was wrong for them to do. Even if who they did it to seemed to force it on themselves.
