Is it late at 25 to find your first job?If you switched from Physics to Engineering school?

    no. just be thankful you found a job, hopefully one you enjoy doing. many have a job just to pay the bills. as you said, you switched fields of study, so you had a later start towards your potential career anyway.

    you could always consider the military for careers too. the Army has their own Engineering unity, among other engineering jobs in all branches. and with your degree, you could apply and train to become an officer. or, just enlist and start out as an E-4.

    No. And it's not like there's an abundance of engineers. You shouldn't have trouble. Perhaps mechanical engineers may have more trouble finding jobs in the US though.
