    No, not at all although you are not allowed to masturbate until you can spell it correctly.

    Medical science has shown that regular orgasms from an early age are the best prophylactic against prostate problems later in life. Doctors encourage all boys and men to take the hands-on approach to prostate cancer prevention. Some uncircumcised boys have a condition called phimosis which is the inability to draw the foreskin back over the glans penis. Masturbation can help loosen the foreskin and correct the condition.

    Only a malicious god is going to create a particularly nasty disease like prostate cancer and a fun and enjoyable way of preventing it and then make that prevention a sin. It isn't gods who are against masturbation, it is priests, pastors, rabbis and imams, all old men with prostate problems, who don't want you having any pleasure over which they have no control. If your god is not malicious, take yourself in hand as often as you like. Don't do it in public, some people do not like to see others receiving medical attention and if constant use causes soreness, learn to use some lubrication.

    Of course if masturbation is OK for boys, it is OK for girls too even though they don't have a prostate gland.

    Masturbation is a sin but it's a sin against yourself. Well you're busy playing with yourself.

    You're not establishing healthy relationships with other human beings! If you don't break the habit you'll end up your whole life dependent on yourself a lonely person with no friends.

    "masturbation"

    Let's look first at the word

    Latin "manu" meaning hand (as in manual labor) and "strubare" meaning to defile oneself/ to stupefy

    so masturbation literally means to defile oneself by hand - to stupefy and that accounts for the initial feelings of guilt associated with the practice - we are literally sinning against our own bodies

    ===============

    There definitely are some biblical principles that can be applied to the issue:

    (1) “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). If we cannot give God glory for something, we should not do it.

    (2) “Everything that does not come from faith is sin” (Romans 14:23). If we are not fully convinced that an activity is honoring to God, it is a sin.

    (3) “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). Our bodies have been redeemed and belong to God.

    (4) “The fruit of the Spirit is . . . self-control” (Galatians 5:22–23). Masturbation is almost always a sign of a lack of self-control.

    These great truths should have a powerful impact on what we do with our bodies. In light of these principles, many conclude that masturbation is always sinful. Masturbation is a questionable activity, at best—whether it can glorify God; whether it can be done in absolute confidence that it is right; and whether it can honor God as the owner of our bodies.

    If done with absolutely no lust, immoral thoughts, or pornography, with full assurance that it is good and right, with thanks given to God for the pleasure it brings (see 1 Corinthians 10:30), is it still a sin to masturbate? The most we can say is maybe not. However, we have serious doubts whether this scenario ever truly exists.
