If you are on the verge of crying and could either cry or hold it in what is better to do?

obviously not in a social setting but when you alone and could do either

    cry. crying actually is very healthy. it releases all sorts of chemicals and hormones to help you feel better and release stress. holding it in just makes things worse.

    Let yourself cry. If you try to hold it in, you'll only get worse.

    Best to let it out. Holding emotions back can cause ulsers.
