Trump claims he is against illegal immigration yet wants to lower rates of legal immigration. Doesn't he know about supply and demand?

The less opportunities to immigrate legally, the more who will immigrate illegally. This is not very hard.

That's often where the anti-immigration crowd fails. They claim to be anti-illegal immigration but they also oppose legal immigration.

Trump is for immigration as long as the immigrants are blonde Norwegians.

The inverse is more applicable in this case: The harder you make it to immigrate illegally, the more people will pursue applying legally.

What part of Illegal, don't you understand?

Apparently, the Law of Supply and Demand isn't the only one you have trouble with.

We can do both. We can seal the borders, deport illegals, and limit the number of visa entries. This will result in even more jobs for Americans!

Legal immigration has no effect on illegal immigration.
