If someone assumed they wanted the best looking fish, more than just one fish, and for 10 years or more,
then the tank would be much larger than if the fish only has to live a year.
So, are you seriously going to get a 75 to 100 gallon tank,
or were you really asking about the minimum size tank a fish can be squeezed into for a few months.?
Generally a couple baby fancy Goldfish can live in a 30 gallon for a year or so,
but to keep them healthy and growing correctly a much larger tank is needed.
Pearlscales are nice fish and when kept right they are worth having.
