We had a fling. He married. We continued our fling and now we are closer than ever. I love him. I know he loves me. He said it before he got married but after we split he never did. Why would he ask me such a question? Does he still love me?

He might. It's still a waste of your time. Why did he wed? Why do his marriage vows mean nothing to him? It's silly of him to want any sort of a declaration from you while he's married to another woman. He's wasting your time.
