Why would drinking Green Tea before bedtime help or not one to sleep?
I always drink Green Tea in the morning to wake up, but for some reason I also have been drinking it sometimes too when cant sleep and it seems to help, why would that be? Is it known for this?

Green tea has quite a bit of caffeine in it, so drinking it before bed would be a bad idea.
In addition, tea is a diuretic, so that would also make it a bad idea to drink before bed -- unless you like getting up in the middle of the night to go pee.

Green tea? No.
Camomile, mint, and/or lavender teas might help though.

tea has caffeine..some people are sensitive to caffeine and it would interfere with sleep.
I never heard of anyone drinking tea to help them sleep unless its an herbal tea that has sedative properties, like chamomile tea.
