I assume you’re talking about the book of Ecclesiastes. What a wonderful contrast is presented in that book between man’s wisdom under the sun versus the wisdom of God. Throughout the majority of Ecclesiastes, Solomon proclaims man’s wisdom, and some of it is pretty ridiculous (for instance see 10:1, 19 & 20). Very dangerous book to base key doctrines on, but cults are very fond of doing just that.

Thank goodness God’s wisdom triumphs at the end of the book. “For man goes to his eternal home while mourners go about in the street...then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.” (12:5b-7)

“The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.” (12:13-14)
