    Substances from chemists.....

Silk is made by moth larvae, aspirin is derived from tree bark, nylon was made initially in a laboratory, but aspirin and even synthetic silk can be produced by chemists. Of the three, only nylon has no naturally occur source.

I recommend aspirin for the answer. Aspirin is actually aceto-salicylic acid. The alicylic acid is a natural product and then it is acetylated to form aspirin.

Nylon is a polymer whereas silk is a natural product.

BTW, the exact same acetalization process can be carried out on morphine. The product is heroin.

B.............. That is a chemical compound. NYLON is just a physical modification of coal tar. SILK is a naturally produced product.

Both Nylon and Aspirin were first prepared in chemical laboratories. Willow bark yields Salicylic acid; Acetylation to make aspirin was first done in the lab. It is not a natural product.
