Is learning to code without a college education worth it?

I'm 25, I have a full time job making 30$/hr but I want more and I cant get that where I work

I cant afford to go to school for 4 years (especially with no guarantee ill pass all my classes)

I'm learning python at the moment online, reading books, and watching videos, using code academy, taking notes etc.

Can I ever get anywhere with learning to code on my own?

Update 2:

Is learning to program without a college education worth it?

Depends on your definition of "worth". I learned to program (not 'code' - that's a nonsense buzzword) before I started secondary school. Later I went to university to study computer science.

Define "worth it." Are you one of those fuckbags who thinks that the only measure of "worth" is money?
