They'll vote for him. The religious right is not about religion, morality or right vs wrong (although they love to pompously pontificate about those things), they are all about power and control. They have morphed their religion into a crass political ideology, oriented not toward spirtual awareness, enlightenment & salvation, but raw political power, self-righteous, selfish & judgmental callousness, jingoistic white nationalism/supremacy, and a greedy grubbing for personal wealth--all while ostentatiously waving the flag around in one hand, and the Bible in the other, so they can claim "God is on our side." That is now what the Republican "tribe" is all about--and its the tribe that's all-important, not the nation.
So, they'll vote for him--he's a member of their tribe.
