Don't do any steps, movements or sequences you can't do or haven't practiced. Do you have some strengths like a natural sense of rhythm? Play to your strengths. If you watch any good dancer, even Michael Jackson or J-Lo ... they are clean and clear with their movements, no extraneous wobbling, etc.

So my advice is to practice some steps and get good at them, own them.

Probably too late by now .... hopefully you've already done this.

If you have a talent you have only to practice more and more to be a better dancer.

You can’t instantly just be a better dancer. It would be so nice if you could, but unfortunately that’s not the case. With that being said, relaxing your upper body so you aren’t stiff (this is something beginner dancers typically struggle with since they’re so focused on remembering steps and their lower bodies). If you’re doing ballet/contemporary/modern, keep breath in your arms, elbows lifted and arms held from your back. Use your eyes to direct the audience where to look and be expressive. Passion/expression is something that is difficult to teach, so if whoever you are trying to impress sees that you have that passion/expression, it will not go unnoticed and will make you appear to be a more mature dancer. Hope that helps!

Nothing small will make You a better dancer. It takes practice and lots of it.

You can't instantly be a better dancer but you can instantly be a better performer by acting with confidence. Purposeful movement can go a long way with most audiences, who are not expert and do not know the intended correography.

'Small tips and/or tricks' cannot help you, nor can anything happen instantly.

It takes talent, years of good quality training and regular practice to improve.

As home practice is not advised one needs multiple classes weekly in order to improve.

There are none. Nobody can instantly become a better dancer. It takes years of hard work and proper training.
