For a bathroom remodel how to repipe the freestanding bathtub and possibly shower for a greywater line leading outside second floor.?

    If you are talking about adding a new drain for a bathtub or shower that are located on a second floor, I would run the pipe through an exterior wall and down the outside of the building. Two reasons. You are going to tear up a lot of interior trying to get to an existing drain. And the big one is that the dropping draining water will magnify inside the wall and sound like a water fall. And you will never know it, until you have done all the work and try it out. Build a cowling to cover the plumbing going down the exterior wall.
