What does it mean when someone asks a potential romantic partner what they bring to the table?

And how should you respond to someone you're interested in asking you what you bring to the table?

It's a bit coldly worded, but not necessarily offensive. I think the intent is merely to get at what you feel your attributes are in a relationship. Are you caring and compassionate, fun and exciting. I think they just want to get a sense of how you see yourself, and if it might fit with what works for them in a relationship. This is an opportunity for you to state what you need from the relationship, as well. If you have any expectations or deal breakers, you should ask about them after you answer.
