We bought a brother and sister cat (same age) around 4 months ago. The female is in heat. Will she try to reproduce with her brother?

YES. And if she gets pregnant at her age, she is likely to have very serious complications including death giving birth. She is likely to kill or ignore baby kittens as she is a kitten herself.

Separate them NOW. Get an emergency spay done by end of June and get him neutered too. Most vets will give you a little discount if you do them together instead of one now and one later.

At 4-6 months, or whenever they sexually mature, all kinship goes out the window and they are total strangers to each other and they WILL reproduce; there is no "try" or "might," they WILL, if neither of them are fixed. Get one fixed now if you're low on cash, at the very least, preferably the female.
