I have a pixie frog and I wanna know how can I heat up his cage without any lights?

I was thinking of putting a heat mat on the side of his cage so he doesn’t burn himself because he burrows but, idk if it will get to hot. I only need to raise the temperature like 5-10 degrees higher.

If you use a heat pad (although they’re expensive) you can use the zoo med under tank heater. The smallest size, i think its mini, can be used on plastic cages because of the low heat output. Might be perfect since you’re looking for just a *little* more heat!
