The assumption of water flow without resistance is not realistic, but making that assumption and the assumption that the rooftop tank was holding enough water to fill both bathtubs, C. Both bathtubs fill instantly. Supposing that the rooftop tank was holding 10,000 gallons, both bathtubs also overflow instantly, supposing that each bathtub holds less than 5,000 gallons and no one else in the building opens a tap at the same time.
