Oh, how do I count the ways?????
Dengue Fever in Sri Lanka, while in the Navy, and was in sick bay for 2 weeks, 4 days, in a dead to the world coma, with raging fever. That was 92-93, I think.
In 95, was involved in Vert-Rep accident on the other side of the world in Italy. I was pronounced dead at the scene and carried to the sjips sick bay......where after suddenly coming to, I had to beg to differ with their diagonosis.
In '87, I was in a car accident, (passenger) where the driver hit some black ice, lost control, went into a series of wild 360° spins, that ended with *literally* cutting the car in half when she wrapped it around a telephone pole.-
We hit on my side, my seat was *OBLITERATED* .........but somehow, I walked away without a scratch.
When officers arrived, they didn't BELIEVE me, when I said I was a passenger in the car, and thought I was looting the wreck.
In 2010......had an allergic reaction, that came a whisker away from cutting my throat open in the ambulance.
We got to the hospital with about 0 seconds to spare, crashed thru the doors and they just jabbed the hell out of me.
Thank god they radioed ahead and were ready and waiting.
Those are just a few of the hilights.
