How come they say that school buses are inanimate objects? Don’t they have lips? Their lips are the front bumper of it, correct?

On those school buses, they a black bumper thing in the front that is kind of soft. Isn’t that where their lips are located? I know in Cars movies the recent one had the bus with its mouth literally on the front but they should have lowered it to where that bumper is. I’d imagine they have BIG kissiable lips, mmmmh!
