Don't hang a gate or stretch a fence on it for a week.

Depends on the concrete, put the post in one day and usually the next you can go to work. But they type, how it was mixed, the weather conditions, all really do play a roll in this.

The metal post is already dry. It's the CONCRETE you want to cure to a hard surface... If you're planting a fence post or something similar, the concrete should set up for about 24 hours before you attach anything to the post.

It will set in 24-48 hours. It will cure in about a month.

Weather conditions can be a factor.
