That's such a coincidence
I just had two female fancy hippies looking at my tank less than an hour ago.
But I have a 75 gallon and I'm sure I couldn't have fit even one in the tank.
I'm hoping they'll come back but I'm going to need a much bigger tank.
Assuming you get guppies instead of hippies, you still should get a decent sized tank and a better mix of fish, even if those are the ones you like.
In your tank, I'd do the neons and another group of tiny dwarf tetra or rasbora, small snails and shrimp. Run the tank two months with one group of fish. Two whole months at least, before adding one more group. Learn how to correctly maintain the tank with small cleanings and minimal food.
Note: guppies and hippies can breed like crazy;
unless you're ok with hundreds of babies being eaten,
or overcrowding your tank,
consider different fish,,,,,,
or start a commune.
