My key fob will not open my trunk for my 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited. Why??? It's just annoying having to use the manual trunk button on trunk.?

If it has a manual key slot than don't worry about fixing it. Waste of money when you can just put a key in a hole and turn.

Annoying? LOL! When I learned to drive we had 2 keys . 1 for doors and trunk, 1 for ignition. Get it fixed at the dealer, I’m guessing something is not hooked up wire wise, or just deal with it. Surly you have bigger fish to fry.

Do you have to hit the button twice to release the trunk or possibly hold the button down for 10 seconds?

See a dealer if the car is still under warranty.

Mine was doing the same thing when the battery started running low. I replaced it and it's worked normally after that.

    Just a suggestion. Not a mechanic. :)

Oh geez, another spoiled lazy. In my day, you had to get up and twist a stubborn knob on your TV to change channels.
