is a measuring tape a much better method to find out how "Fit" you are , vs, using a weigh scale?
why people use the weigh scale, when you are obviously going to gain weight when you are excercising and working out...as muslces weight more than fat?

yes and no, some people work out just for the cardio and/or to stay toned, not necessarily looking to build muscle mass
trust me, fat people already know they are fat

Take pictures of yourself with a mirror and compare them. Measuring tape is better than a scale, but comparing pictures of your progress is even better
