what does X with bar over it mean or cl X in analysis?
Update:
X is a set. The bar over it seems to mean the same as clX in analysis, but what does that mean?

Xbar usually indicates the average value for the set of data. The mean in statistics. I don't know what you mean by cl X and I definitely do not know what type of analysis you are doing because you did not say, so cannot really answer the question in a meaningful way. Chemical analysis, data analysis, statistical analysis, or what?

x-bar.....
The symbol x-bar, that is, an "x" with a line over it, refers to the average of x values.
