Red state voters believe that they have been financially robbed by those farther down the social ladder than they are and that only a "strong" leader will restore them

Because they want both nationalism and welfare at the same time, so that immigrants don't pose competition for the recourses distributed to them. the more people there are, the less there is to go around, because there is limited resources, in general. food is not infinite because there is not an infinite amount of fertile soil. Also, for those of you who say we ""need"" latinos in order to farm food, that is misinformative, because if white people have survived thousands of years without them, how could they not now? just simply kick them out and put white people on the farms and then, bam, our gene pool is once again saved from the third-worlder scum. If they can't build a high quality nation in Mexico, what makes you think they could do so here? Magic? hahaha. Maybe if liberals actually studied read science, they would actually come to the same conclusion as me.

Because they want to be self-sufficient instead of leeching off the government. Republican, or rather Trump's policies will get them off food stamps and self-sufficient. They are not content with free handouts, unlike democrats
