You have your opinions about the man, and you have chosen to publish them a very long time after Lennon was killed. Nobody can now tell why Lennon forsook his first wife and took up with Yoko Ono.

A more recent example might be Donald Trump - he is now on his second (or is it third?) wife, who is from a former communist part of Europe. At least he is still alive so you could ask him why he made the change. Best to wait until he has finished his talks with Kim Jon Un.

Lennon was a hippy socialist himself, in fact in that era many people nearly escaped the American corporate system in the USA. But it didn't last long and went back to business soon after, Lennon was killed and most people who spoke critically of the system in the US were killed.

No, he was all about love, peace, acceptance, tolerance, I mean he sometimes got real angry and he was pretty nuts at times, but he was a good man, a smart man, and well, you know, they were both just a bit nuts. Socialism makes sense when done properly, in a nice, peaceful, democratic way. It has to be the right mix of capitalism and communism, with freedom and democracy as the main parts.
