What do you think about de Blasio's plan to remove the SHSAT?

I believe its ridiculous. People who get into the specialized high schools are hard working people who prep. Asian people make up a large population of these schools. Some from this minority group immigrate from another country and work hard to improve their education. deBlasio plans to diversify the schools by increasing African Americans and Latinos by taking in the top few students from each school. That means the top student from a horrible school will steal the spot from an average person from a prestigious school. This will just end up destroying the specialize high school and damage the reputations. True, the school population does not reflect the city population, but the top people deserve to be at the top.

Clearly you are not actually from New York. You learned some new talking points from whichever right wing nonsense blogs you scour for something interesting to troll on. And stop your race baiting. Trying to sound liberal by crying about asians. And to the electric pole, there is no such thing as a tall poppy syndrome. Another absurdity fake issue invented by professional trolls and haters.
