Why are the racist Japanese allowed to keep their strict immigration system, why do we Americans allow them to keep that?

Here in America we have a very lax immigration system, heck people can just come over and have their baby here and then the baby automatically becomes a citizen. People can become a citizen here easily also.

Why do we allow Japan to keep it's racist strict policy? Which we all know is based on racism and xenophobia of not wanting foreigners to be part of Japan.

They barely even accepted any of the Syrian refugees either, and the UN does nothing ever against Japan. The UN literally enables Asian countries to be racist, yet forces white countries to basically destroy ourselves, when will this end?

Because it is none of America's business. America should keep its nose out of anything that happens outside the American coastline

Build the wall. And Anyone that violates the immigration system-the ones that get deported more than 3 times-they should be shot.

Well because it isn't up to the US, you see the only brief period anything in Japan was up to the US was during occupied Japan. Which was from 1945-1952. Though even during occupied Japan the Americans struggled to actually gain control of anything or change anything permanently, by 1948 they had even lost control of the Japanese government also, many being loyalists to the previous governments.

The US didn't like Hatoyama and banned him from politics when he was about to become prime minister in 1946.

The US thought that Ashida was their guy, yet he brought back the Japanese military. So they had another election quickly, and Yoshida got in and he refused to reverse any of these policies that Ashida set in place and was adding even more of his own.

The US mostly gave up during the Ashida government, and to save face knowing that they were about to totally lose Japan in the next year they lifted Hatoyama's ban from politics (which wouldn't have even existed as a ban in the next year anyway as the US was made to leave and occupied Japan ended). Hatoyama became the next prime minister afterwards.

And today it isn't in America's best interests to sh*t on Japan, this is why Trump and many politicians in the US barely do this. Because Japan trades a lot with the USA and Japan really doesn't do too much in the international community, for example it isn't like Japan is in the middle east fighting against the US or trying to influence US elections etc.

The only thing Japan does that the US doesn't like is Japan refuses to get involved in the South China sea and refuses to go against China. You see Japan refuses to go against China as China is Japan's biggest trading partner. Plus Japan knows that they can't win a war with China in modern times, no use committing suicide just for America who likely wouldn't even try to save us anyway if China started destroying us out. It's much better for Japan historically to just ally with China.

Of course here in Japan we would rather the US also to become allies with China and even Russia, all strong countries should help each other and not be trying to fight.

    1) The US does NOT have a "lax" immigration system. The reason we have 11m or so illegals is because our immigration system is TOO STRICT. We have more job openings right now than people looking for work. We need more immigrants or our economy will not grow as fast as it could. A realistic guest worker program and other reforms would make illegal immigration pointless because we would have enough legal immigrants to meet our needs.

    2) The US doesn't control Japanese immigration policy. We don't. yes, they're our ally, and we have alot of influence given that we're basically defending them, but they don't just do whatever we tell them to like some client state. That's not the relationship.

    3) I would gladly invite more Syrian refugees here. Yes, it's possible a few of them are bad actors...ex ISIS fighters looking for revenge. But the vast majority are desperate people who will be very grateful to the US for being there for them in their time of need. Some of the proudest patriots I know are immigrants.

Virtually all countries are racist by liberal standards. Liberals don't seem to have a grasp on reality.

Japan has an extremely low crime-rate. They obviously are doing something right.

It's good for us to know that you are suspicious of infants. I have no control over Japan. I'm not in Japan or Japanese.
