Its actually still a science degree, called mathematical science, with an emphasis on computer science. I’m currently working as a research assistant in a biochemistry lab for the summer (which I got through a connection) but my new program is fairly unrelated (first year classes were mostly the same, but almost no touching points from there). Would experience like this be beneficial? Should I keep coming back here given the opportunity, to make myself more employable?
