Anybody know anything on blanket stitching for sewing?
I'm a beginner in sewing, and I'm taking an apparel construction class at school. I'm making a stuffed animal pillow, and I have to use felt. I have to do blanket machine stitching, but I'm not sure what thread and needles I'm supposed to use. I bought all purpose thread, and I have universal needles. Can I use those for my project?

You can, but traditionally made stuffed felt objects are blanket-stitched closed with heavy thread or threads, or yarn in a color that coordinates or contrasts with the felt. It's an artistic choice. Examples:

The sites posted are for hand stitched , not machine stitched. Which is usually how it is done,
If you use sewing machine your needles and thread are fine.
