Why did the UN (founded in 1945) not protest when the newly created state of Israel (founded in 1948) started to expand its given borders?

Update:

The 6-day war in 1967 was when Israel took the west Bank.

It did. There are a number of outstanding UN resolutions regarding the State of Israel, its borders and the disenfranchisement of its subjugated peoples. However Israel has the backing of the USA whose veto means Israel can ignore the UN.

  • Because the illegitimate jewish state screamed "never again" at any attempt to stifle their expansion and the gutless powers backed off.

The western powers did not want people to think hard about war crimes because then the mass killings of civilians by war criminals such as Churchill would have taken the focus of the nazis.

Churchill committed major war crimes in both world wars particularly the fire bombing of dresden, a city that was heavily populated and had no factories or military value.

With US and British government knowledge Stalin committed mass murder against Jews in Russia and the UN turned a blind eye.

As far as I remember they declared it illegal . That is even the existence of the state in the first place.

The UN is a terrorist organization that supports Israel, just as its member countries do. One of the biggest things they protect is the fact that Israel is not a legal state and their expansion into the Arab regions would be in violation of the Balfour Declaration if the terms were still in effect. It abided by the terms to leave the other states in the Middle East alone just until the British Mandate expired and they no longer had the restriction.

Once the UN took over jurisdiction, Israel was given the green light - they declared their independence (recognized by the UN) and then started going after the rest of Palestine.

Compare the amount of real estate Israel claims now as opposed to what they were given by the Balfour Declaration. It has grown extensively - most noticeably after they declared themselves an independent state in 1948.

They have done nothing but terrorize the Middle East, using the United States as their prostitute.

The USA recognized Israel and the Arabs attacked Israel and Israel kept the territory taken by them for protection.

oh gee...... maybe because that "expansion" was tied directly to them being attacked by every neighbor the moment they became a nation...?

Probably because Israel was fighting defensive wars.

For the same reason it did nothing when seven countries attacked Israel in an attempt to take its land. Israel just took over the lands from which most of the attacks were launched. Sort of like the USA following the Spanish-American war.

Perhaps because Jordan (the West Bank) and Egypt (The Gaza Strip) did so too at the same time...

Because it is not the purpose of the un to protest the actions of a nation. It is a forum for nations to bring complaints so that they can be addressed in a peaceful manner.
