Why are Republicans driving up the debt and running higher deficits than Obama?

Republicans all blamed Obama for the national debt, when it increased from 10.6 trillion to 19 trillion over 8 years.

Republicans said if they had control, they would bring down the debt and solve the deficit problem.

1.5 years into trump, the national debt debt is 21.1 trillion and he more than doubled the budget deficits for the foreseeable future.

Why aren't FOX Propaganda and conservatives complaining about Trumps debt the way they did about Obama.

Under Obama the US created more jobs than any other 8-year span in US history. He also cut the deficit by 2/3, transformed America into the world's leading oil exporter, killed Osama bin Laden, prevented Iran from developing nuclear weapons, and rolled back the Reagan-era restrictions on firearms in national parks. And he did this while facing the most bitter opposition of any modern president.

In just 17 months Trump has added $1T to the deficit, destabilized the markets, green-lighted Iran's nuclear weapons program, and ceded power to China. Plus, the US created 1M fewer jobs in 2017 than 2016, and the Labor Participation Rate is lower under Trump than Obama.

The truth is that conservative policies are bad for America and bad for the world.

I guess for the same reason that democrats are. "The House passed the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill, 256-167, with 145 Republicans and 111 Democrats voting “yes.” The “no” votes came from 90 Republicans and 77 Democrats."

Lets look at where that money is being spent....

The largest portion is for Healthcare. Obamacare has dramatically driven up the costs there

The second largest portion is on pensions for government union workers

Obama's biggest deficit was in his first year and decreased every year after that. Pretty typical for pulling a country out of a recession. Trump has increased it and the out look appears to be it will increase each year for the foreseeable future.

But deficit spending is only an issue raised by the party not in power.

I hope all you dumb c0ntards are enjoying your tax-cut benefits, because oil prices are SKYROCKETING due to Trump withdrawing the US from the Iran Deal.

Guess you'll be pouring that extra $40 a month into your gas tanks instead of upgrading from 305s to Marlboros this summer!

Historically federal spending has always increased at a higher rate under a Republican controlled congress than a Democrat controlled congress.
