Since Obama created DACA with an executive order, doesn't Trump have the power to undo it with an executive order?

Logic would say so but liberal judges aren't required to exercise it when making political rather than legal judgments.

If everything were that simple, we could learn all the law we need to know in high school. Do you know why the court struck down that California ballot initiative that undid the California legislature’s legalization of gay marriage? Because once a right is given, it cannot be taken away.

Yes, but why would you want him to do that?

Technically, no. But he can have the courts vote on it-which they would decide it is an illegal act.

An unconstitutional executive order papered over by a liberal judge will be overturned by SCOTUS. LOL

Not necessarily. The people who signed up for DACA were acting in good faith on the promise of the government and shouldn't be punished because of that.

He already ended it. An executive order is only good for time a president who made it is in office. It’s up to congress to make DACA a law and be permanent.

Yes. Not only was it an EO, it was unconstitutional. Congress had recently rejected the Dream Act. So 0bama implemented most of it using the DACA EO.
