A red-eared slider is a type of turtle indigenous to the midwestern United States. They have an average length ranging from 15 to 20 cm. A zoologist would like to compare the size of turtles from three different adjoining states: Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Samples of twenty turtles found in each of the three different states were measured.
