Beer is actually quite healthy despite the alcohol content. The bittering/aromatic agent is hops (a distant cousin to "hemp"). It's mildly euphoric, antibiotic, and diuretic. People actually put fresh hops in their pillows to help them sleep. I used to brew it like tea and drink it over ice.
Another option is malta, popular south of our borders. If grape juice is unfermented wine, malta is unfermented beer. It's carbonated, has hops, malted barley, and a buttload-and-a-half of sugar... and occasionally, bizarre adjuncts such as "royal jelly" (don't ask). Most people hate it, but I'll get some occasionally/ Available in the Hispanic section at larger grocery chains.
Another option that has nothing to do with beer: You may want to try a high-mineral content water. The highest I've found is Gerolsteiner. I drink it straight, and I also use it to mix with cheap scotch, but that's probably not real helpful to you.
