When we are going thru something scary and our future feels precarious, its easy to focus on the waves and wind swirling around us. We imagine sinking and we fear the worst.

That's when Jesus tells us to keep our eyes and our mind on Him instead. One moment at a time with Him. Submitting every thought to His control. Placing ourselves in His 'Miracle Rhelm'.

We can face scary times with Him and watch how He keeps us in His peace and works all things for our good or we can allow fear and dread to pull us down into the dumps.

We learn that when we finally have faith, we can jump in the water without fear:

John 21 v. 7 -- "So the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord." When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tucked in his garment, for he was lightly clad, and jumped into the sea."

A person can know with certainty Jesus exists and is God by reciting the rosary carefully every day.

when real problems come up and the world seems to be falling apart? (FATHER is near)

    trust in THIS....

    if you cannot?

    you are in trouble.

    DOUBT hinders all good works.

JESUS even had to remove doubters before healing a 12 year old girl from death.

    DOUBT hindered HIS GOOD WORKS.

    began to...

Luk 8:49 ¶ While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

Luk 8:50 ¶ But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, ☛Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. ☚

Luk 8:51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.

Luk 8:52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.

Luk 8:53 ☛ And they laughed him to scorn, ☚ knowing that she was dead.

Luk 8:54 ¶ ☛And he put them all out, ☚ and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

Luk 8:55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.

Luk 8:56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

Try to keep the faith. If your faith weakens, you will slip below the surface.

Fun fact for you, chief. The Hebrews used to use the phrase "walking on water" to refer to swimming.
