Why do liberals believe that McCabe should be able to lie to the government, and not only escape punishment, but be financially rewarded?
Liberals seem to want McCabe to face no consequences, and even get his full pension (he'll still get part of it), i.e., a financial award. Isn't that paying people to lie to the government? Meanwhile, Gen. Flynn, accused of the same thing, should suffer every single consequence possible?
@ Justin Thyme - well that's a given, all liberals view themselves as victims, it's their thing

Every now and then, even though you would think it's not possible, the Left collectively shows us just how freakin' delusional they are.
IG appointed by Obama administration ( approved by Democrats) recommends internal investigation by non-partisan, ethics office of career FBI officials.
Said non-partisan ethics office of career FBI officials recommends McCabe be terminated. Has that ever happened before to such a high ranking official ?
McCable gets terminated ( per recommendation )
The Left circles the wagons for a corrupt FBI Official. It's fvcking incredible lol They are absolutely delusional. They literally believe solely what they want to believe and to hell with all facts and logic.

Even Sessions didn't say he lied -- he said that in the opinion of his investigator , MacCabe "lacked candour" -- but gives no other detail to support even this .And since the report has not been released we cannot judge for ourselves .
MacCabe admits to briefing jounalists about the FBI investigation in question --ironically into the Clinton e-mails -- but pointed out that it was with the full knowledge of other senior members of the FBI, including its director
This dismissal looks dirty ,and it has the finger prints of the vindictive self interest of Trump and the GOP all over it

You have that wrong.
Liberals may believe that right now we have no evidence what McCabe did wrong other than standing up to Trump.
Liberals may believe that if Jeff Sessions can lie to the government (specifically about his meetings with Russians while working on the Trump campaign) and keep his job, then it's the height of hypocrisy to treat McCabe differently.
Liberals may believe retaliatory firing is a crime under federal law, and that McCabe's firing looks an awful lot like retaliation for standing up to Trump.
As far as Flynn is concerned, he did a lot more than lie. Flynn accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars and worked for a foreign power while serving in the Trump administration. Flynn pleaded guilty to a felony. Is Sessions going to charge McCabe with a felony? If he does, then you can start comparing McCabe to Flynn.

McCabe turned his notes over to Mueller so he will get the final word at Trump's trial for treason.

Actually, Flynn's consequences is pretty minimal for lying to his boss, the country, and the FBI and selling out his country for profit. Unlike McCabe, Flynn DID retire and gets his whole pension and is getting a wee slap on the wrist. I am sure that Flynn is doing just fine.

Perhaps liberals view McCabe as a victim instead of a corrupt person.

It's just kind of funny that of all people, Jeff Sessions is firing people for lack of candor under oath.
