Bought into the bull about the Jimmy G trade I see. They could not trade him after this season unless that tagged him, that would have tied up too much money at a time where they need it for many, many other areas. So they traded him for something at the deadline, better then getting nothing. Lots of people can and have come out saying he could have gotten this or that, but in all honesty. We do not know that is true, regardless of where it comes from. Anything can be said after the fact and Cleveland, well, their track record sort of speaks for itself. Sherman, a known mouth, a known single system type cover guy, even though one of the best, is not the type the pats go after except on maybe short money one year deals. Both Talib and Sherman want money, more then the pats typically pay, especial with both the D line and linebackers needing so much work. Don't forget the O line either along with the RB's that will take a hit this off season. So you keep focusing on what the talking heads want you to focus on, as opposed to the bigger picture. You'll be much happier doing that I believe.
