I’ve had generalized/social anxiety disorder for as long as I can remember.
There’s two things I think I should say:
People knew I had anxiety because I’d intentionally let them know, and if I didn’t, I wouldnt of got the help I needed and would have wallowed in a deeper hole of self doubt, worry and frustration. Good friends, parents, doctors are people you can let know.
Which brings me to the second thing:
Good people make each other better people. Don’t worry about the strangers, if anybody ever makes you feel bad about yourself, doubt yourself, or give you looks they’re not good people and why should you care? Why should you worry if it doesn’t matter?
It sounds like this question is a product of your social anxiety. The same was true for me, it makes you notice these things. You’re your best critic, no one knows you better than you. Deal with anxiety by changing focus and having faith in yourself.
Here’s a little song I wrote you might want to sing it note for note... ;)
I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety.
