It comes down to will power and self control. If you have to want to be healthy MORE than you want to eat that "junk food". Perhaps some research on how to avoid stress, and how to deal with stress when it happens, since you claim that's your trigger. Instead of finding ways to avoid eating things that aren't healthy for you, work on controlling your 'trigger' or learning better ways to cope with stress, than putting something in your mouth.
Ultimately it's up to you. All the things you list, are things some people use to help reduce the chances they will over eat or do any emotional eating.
To lose fat and keep it off, you have to adopt a healthy lifestyle. That doesn't mean you can't have some pizza or a danish now and then, but it's all about moderation and self control. Until you learn to control your urge to eat when you are stressed, then nothing will help except locking you in a room where you have no access to unhealthy food and no way to call anyone to bring it to you (and that's just not practical).
For me, I find not having it in the house helps me a lot, because I'm rarely motivated enough to make myself presentable, get in the car, and go get something. If it's in the house and I get the urge to splurge, then I'm GOING to eat it.
