Currently the US has 11 million illegal immigrants and 43.3 million immigrants in total, equating to about 13.5% of the total US population.
I have heard very few people suggest that we should allow any and every immigrant into the US. I have heard very few people suggest that we should not allow any immigrants into the US.
SOOO, the question is the amount of immigration that the US wants and that is a question that every country in this world considers.
Given the US is one of the leading countries in allowing immigrants into the US and one of the leading countries in our treatment of immigrants, I find you presumption that the US hates immigrants to be rather insulting.
To give you a perspective of how things actually are, Mexico has harsher immigration laws than the US and actually deports more people. Singapore actually canes immigrants who stay more than 90 days over their limit. CANES them!!!! They actually beat illegal immigrants with a rattan cane. I kid you not, you can look it up. Most countries feel they have the right to seize the property of any illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants in the US still have property rights. Indeed, we actually provide social services for BOTH illegal and legal immigrants.
SOOO, what percentage of a country's population do you think should be immigrants???
Further, what rights do you think illegal and legal immigrants to a country should have and which do you believe we are not giving them?
To be completely honest, I think we should likely limit the amount of illegal immigration by fining any company that hires illegal immigrants. Further, I think that IFFFF those companies that hire illegal immigrants feel that they are not able to find enough workers to do the necessary jobs without hiring immigrants, that those companies should petition the US for more LEGAL immigrants.
My pharma company hires many legal immigrants and the pharma industry DOES petition the US government to allow more legal immigrants into the country in order to meet the demand for people with the needed skills.
In other words, I work with MANY people of MANY races who are all here legally. I think it is rather repugnant to equate being against illegal immigration to racism, because that implies that all immigrants that are not white are here illegally which is no even close to being true.
You will note that it is pretty easy to call people a racist for holding a different view. BUT, those liberals making these claims certainly do not want to talk about the number of immigrants in this country NOR compare the US immigration laws to the immigration laws of other countries. The moment they have to talk about FACTS, their "racism" case flies straight out the window.
I am giving facts. Facts that you can look up and verify for yourself. Now I could call those liberals a bunch of pedophiles or make accusations of them raping dogs. I could lay out MANY accusations and insults if I don't have to provide evidence.
But you should likely ask the question. When the liberals accuse people of being racist, is it because they are wanting to have a conversation based upon facts or because they want to avoid having a conversation based upon facts????
