Do calories matter or is it the nutrition that matters for weight loss?

I was watching a video on youtube that showed how to make healthy peanut butter cookies. One cookie was 100 calories but she claimed the cookies were healthy and good for weight loss. 100 calories seems a lot. I’m guessing more than a choco chip cookie you can buy at the store. So i’m wondering, (since i’ll start my weight loss journey) is it the calories that matter or the nutrition (fiber, iron, vitamins, carbs etc.) thank you in advance!
