Prep for survivalist camping trip?

We regularly go into the woods, light a campfire and chill there, or else hike 5 miles into the hills just to see if we can cope. We've got a plan for next spring/summer holidays to go on a nomadic camping trip, during which we spend 2 days heading due north, and 2 days back south. We won't be bringing a tent or sleeping bags, so we'll be making or finding shelter wherever we can, and we'll be taking minimal food (we can't cover much distance if we spend the whole time hunting and fishing).

The current equipment list is this:
Lighter and matches each
Paper for tinder
Rope/string
Empty metal water container
Swiss army knife (Victorinox Huntsman)
Axe/Bow saw (undecided)
Flashlights
Food
Recurve hunting bow (in case food gets lost or otherwise inedible)

Is there anything else that needs considered?
The area north of us is hills and coniferous woodland with plenty of rivers.
