After the election of Trump, the farthest rightwing radicals saw it as an endorsement to their extremist view points. They ran thinking America backed up their agenda and Trump endorsed them only because they were conservative Republicans. They lost because Americans aren't are far to right as the GOP thinks we are

Because of other flaws not related to his endorsement, dummy? Why did David Duke lose in 1988 running as a Democrat for the presidential election, when Democrats were the party of slavery? It should have been a no brainer that he would have won.

Nobody said he was popular with everyone, only the same people who supported him. He was probably asked to endorse the candidates as is customary but the candidates were not too good. Thats not his fault. The media has been very effective in creating a negative aura around Mr Trump and by extension others.

    That's a good point.

Ironically successes for the 2016 Republican candidates were for those who ran AGAINST Trump.

We'll have to see how smartly Republicans play it. Will they go for the more libertarian types, the 'moral majority' types or the establishment GOP types?

I'm pretty sure Dems will pick up seats in the House, but you're not going to take it. Worst for the Party of socialists/ communists/anarchists/progressives is the fact you will lose seats in the Senate.

You've made a poor gamble against America. People are doing much better now than they were 18 months ago.
