Where do deaf people in the Elmwood park nj area like to hang out?
I would like to make more friends and practice my ASL I'm a hearing person and am still studying.
I know enough to carry on normal conversation and I have some experience with deaf culture already.
Even if your not from around here I would still like to make friends else where.

Don't know where Elmwood Park is, but here's a few things in New Jersey
Deaf Bowling Night, 22 Maple Avenue, Fairlawn
Last Friday of every month 7:30 (ASL students welcome)
Diverse Deaf Club https://www.ddcnj.org/
Deaf Coffees http://happy.deafcoffee.com/category/new-jersey/
North Jersey Community Center of the Deaf https://www.njccdsite.org/
People who are Deaf often like to socialize together. It's nice to be in an environment where ASL is the norm. But it is best you check out how welcome you would be at any Deaf event, some enjoy having ASL learners, others want no part of them.
